Lisa Paige Robinson has 2 movies coming out this year. The first, "This Side of the Truth" stars Ricky Gervais and Jennifer Garner. "The Rebound", directed by Bart Freundlich ("Myth of Fingerprints"), stars Catherine Zeta Jones.
Lisa has been acting since the age of 12, when she appeared as a recurring character on "The Wonder Years". Since falling in love with comedy, she has studied improv and sketch comedy at the Groundlings, UCB and Bang! She has also written and acted in many of her own digital shorts and webseries. Lisa now performs standup in venues all over L.A., including the Comedy Store and Club 5. She also hosts an open mic night at Bang! Studio in Los Angeles and thinks you should really sign up.
Lisa is tickled pink to be performing in the LA Comedy Festival and wishes to thank her husband, her parents and all of her friends and family. Also, she wishes to thank Albert Brooks, Meryl Streep and Eddie Murphy for being her best friends in the whole world and looking up to her the way they do.

Review quotes:
"Great delivery. Very funny and original."
-Ricky Gervais (Actor, Writer, Director, Standup)
"Prettier than any female comic has any right to be, Lisa Robinson turns out to be hilarious, modern, edgy and existential. She knocked me off my stool with her deadpan observations of modern life, marriage, family and the living hell that is the so called good life in LA."
--Lynda Obst (Producer, Columnist)
"Lisa is that rare anomaly that disproves the common perception of female comedians as homely, bitter, man-hating, lean-cuisine eating, cat-lady, spinster/lesbians. Lisa is not a funny female - she is funny"
--Michael Mouris, (Milkfat.com, PerezHilton.com)
"LA's best restaurants include La Casita Mexicana, Jitlada, Din Tai Fung and Lisa Robinson - oh wait, Lisa is one of the funniest comedians. Wrong list."
-Neil Kohan, Foodmarathon.com
