Pippa Hinchley
Pippa is probably best known for her stint as series regular ‘superbitch’, Elaine Fenwick, in the U.K’s longest running prime time series Coronation Street.
She has regularly been in top UK TV shows like The Bill, Holby City, Eastenders and has dozens of film, BBC TV and theatre credits. Pippa has worked with comedy greats like Monty Python’s Michael Palin (East Of Ipswich) and Peter Ustinov. She wrote the critically acclaimed five-star Edinburgh shows The Alans Have Landed and solo show Destination Elevation and has performed in London’s award-winning News Revue as well as in the West End in Bus Stop. Her writing credits include sketches for Emmy award winning Brit female sketch show Smack The Pony and 60 episodes of hit UK teen series Sofia’s Diary. Her short film Breaking Out premiered in competition in Cannes and won Best European Short in Angers. She once played the Duchess of York in Fergie and Andrew – The Movie for NBC - but try not to hold it against her.
Tamsin Hollo
Anime queen Tamsin Hollo is probably best known to the manga cogniscenti for her voice work in animated films such as Gall Force, Battle Angel and Junk Boy. A contributor to the London New Play Festival as both actress and writer (Time Out “Pick of the Week”), she has worked in theatre, tv and film in England, Germany and New York. Writing nods include being shortlisted for the Guinness Ingenuity Awards (London), and receiving both the Jerwood First Film award for short film script Beauty Shoppe of Horrors and the TAPS Award for TV pilot Callie the Disenchanted, co-written with Pippa Hinchley. Pippa and she also wrote and performed together at the Edinburgh Festival in the five-star sketch show The Alans Have Landed and on the London comedy circuit as Hinchley and Hollo. Tamsin has just wrapped principal photography on Goldfish Weather, a short film set in Los Angeles, which she wrote and directed.
FI AND VI
Fiona Hardingham
Fiona performed her sensational one woman character comedy show The Dark Show at The Edinburgh Festival to critical acclaim. She has worked as a principal performer with 'Canal Cafe Theatre' in the famous award-winning long-running satirical comedy 'The News Revue' and is one of the co-founders of improvisation troupe 'Shotgun Impro'. She has recently filmed a leading role in an Independent Film and shot a series of webisodes as a British Spy like 007 but with a comedy twist. Fiona is currently in a U.S. commercial playing a parody of Deborah Kerr in, 'From Here To Eternity'. Fi has trained with The Groundlings and performed sell-out shows at The Comedy Store, Comedy Connection and other venues across LA with Violet Mathieson as Fi and Vi.
Violet-Amy Mathieson
Violet has performed with the UK's premiere improvised theatre company Punchdrunk in their Critics Circle Award Winning production of Faust and the acclaimed Masque of the Red Death. She has performed at The National Theatre in London as well as National and International Tours. She played Kate in The Wild Party at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival where she received rave reviews for her performance and the show was awarded the highly coveted 5 stars by leading reviewers and awarded Pick of the Year in The Sunday Herald. She recently played the lead role in the Independent British movie Gin and It set in a 1940's burlesque club. The film and her performance was Highly Commended at the recent British Film Festival in LA.
