HINCHLEY AND HOLLO
Pippa Hinchley
Pippa is probably best known for her stint as series regular ‘superbitch’, Elaine Fenwick, in the U.K’s longest running prime time series Coronation Street.
She has regularly been in top UK TV shows like The Bill, Holby City, Eastenders and has dozens of film, BBC TV and theatre credits. Pippa has worked with comedy greats like Monty Python’s Michael Palin (East Of Ipswich) and Peter Ustinov. She wrote the critically acclaimed five-star Edinburgh shows The Alans Have Landed and solo show Destination Elevation and has performed in London’s award-winning News Revue as well as in the West End in Bus Stop. Her writing credits include sketches for Emmy award winning Brit female sketch show Smack The Pony and 60 episodes of hit UK teen series Sofia’s Diary. Her short film Breaking Out premiered in competition in Cannes and won Best European Short in Angers. She once played the Duchess of York in Fergie and Andrew – The Movie for NBC - but try not to hold it against her.
Tamsin Hollo
Anime queen Tamsin Hollo is probably best known to the manga
cogniscenti for her voice work in animated films such as Gall
Force, Battle Angel and Junk
Boy. A contributor to the London New Play Festival
as both actress and writer (Time Out “Pick of the Week”),
she has worked in theatre, tv and film in England, Germany and
New York. Writing nods include being shortlisted for the Guinness
Ingenuity Awards (London), and receiving both the Jerwood First
Film award for short film script Beauty Shoppe of Horrors
and the TAPS Award for TV pilot Callie the Disenchanted,
co-written with Pippa Hinchley. Pippa and she also wrote and
performed together at the Edinburgh Festival in the five-star
sketch show The Alans Have Landed and on the
London comedy circuit as Hinchley and Hollo.
Tamsin has just wrapped principal photography on Goldfish
Weather, a short film set in Los Angeles, which she
wrote and directed.
