Jason Romaine is proud to be a B.M.C (beta male comedian)
whose miniature frame matches his effeminate voice. Shunned
from sports teams due to his small stature and revoked from
chess club due to his lack of intellectual ingenuity, he found
refuge in his formative years through jester-hood. Growing
up in West Virginia and attending university in North Carolina,
Jason was eager to migrate to a place where people are normal;
he chose Los Angeles. Five years later, he has performed at
myriad unimpressive venues and has graced the stage at The
Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, Gotham, & Caroline’s
on Broadway. These experiences helped him craft ‘The
Emancipation of J.Ro,’ or as laypeople call it, a fifteen
minute stand up set. He would like to thank the great city
of Los Angeles for supplying him with comedic inspiration
on a daily basis.
Awards/distinctions:
Jason believes strongly that art is reward enough, and that
no faux gold statue or medallion can equal the pride one feels
when performing on stage, in the moment, in front of a live
audience. In other words, he has never won any awards.
